Rapid growth of Arctic Core community

Wednesday, 9 December, 2009

The Arctic Core Open Source community continues to grow rapidly and we have registered more than 900 downloads of the embedded AUTOSAR platform Arctic Core – already in the first three months! We are pleased to see the great interest of our initiative and we thank you all for your valuable input to our efforts. We ask you all to continue give us feed-back and to beeing active in our forum – register as a member here and benefit from the growing base of world-wide Arctic Core, Arctic Studio and AUTOSAR experience!

We are currently adding diagnostics features to Arctic Core and take the opportunity to influence the development work by posting your view in our forum what functionality you believe is essential to be added in the up-coming first release.
In December we will also introduce our cost-effective license model for Arctic Core PRO – the commercial release of Arctic Core. The introduction of a commercial license model will extend your opportunity to take advantage of the Arctic Core product in a more commercial-oriented way.

The ArcCore team also continues the development of the Arctic Studio product portfolio. In a few days we will add the possibility to register for a trial license of our recently released BSW Builder – the tool that makes configuration of the Arctic Core BSW quick and easy. Test it out and see the benefits! In the beginning of next year we plan to release our first version of the RTE Builder and the SWC Builder – new tools that introduce more efficiency and quality in developing complete AUTOSAR-based ECUs.
