Arctic Core supports HCS12

Wednesday, 17 March, 2010

The ArcCore team has added support for HCS12 to Arctic Core – the open source embedded platform built on AUTOSAR. The release is currently included in Arctic Core _arc_ repository.

The HCS12 support includes a complete port of OS and we will continue selecting a proper reference board and add support for drivers. More about the HCS12 support can be found here.

Arctic Studio – the embedded development tools set – can be updated to support HCS12 (more about this here). Support for HCS12 in Arctic Studio BSW Builder will be available in the next BSW Builder release – planned in Beta version end of March.

ArcCore adopts Artop

Friday, 12 March, 2010

The embedded platform specialist ArcCore has decided to adopt the Artop platform (www.artop.org) to be used in the new Arctic Studio commercial embedded development plugin. Refer to the Arctic Studio roadmap found here for more details about upcoming new plugins. The migration of Arctic Studio to be based on Artop release 2.0 will enhance the possibilities for the Arctic Studio users to benefit from the rapid development of AUTOSAR and Artop together with the open architecture and the efficiency of the Arctic Studio tools set.

ArcCore plans to launch its first Artop-based commercial plugin – the new Arctic Studio BSW Builder – for Beta users in the end of March.
