The ArcCore team has released the first version of diagnostics support in Arctic Core – the automotive embedded platform based on AUTOSAR 3.1. It includes the AUTOSAR modules DEM, DCM and CAN TP.

Diagnostics support is today available in the _arc_ bleeding edge repository and planned to be available as a stable release in mid-May. Together with the stable release, the commercial configuration tool Arctic Studio BSW Builder will be extended to support easy and efficient configuration of the new AUTOSAR modules.

The diagnostics functionality now available includes:

Diagnostics Event Manager (DEM)

• Logging of events and event status for pre and post init events.
• Storing of DTC and extended data connected to events.
• Clearing of individual and groups of DTCs.
• Reporting of DTC status and extended data information.
• Operation cycle handling.

Diagnostic Communication Manager (DCM)

• Basic session and security handling.
• Generic framework for different protocol and SID handling.
• A selection of UDS services

ArcCore today released the new version of Arctic Studio BSW Builder – the commercial BSW configuration tool for the AUTOSAR based automotive embedded platform Arctic Core.

BSW Builder 2.0 fully supports configuration of Arctic Core v2.0 RC1 released yesterday. The new version of BSW Builder is based on Artop and includes many enhancements and improvements. More about the new release can be found here.
