BSW Builder v2.2 now available

The ArcCore team has release a new version of BSW Builder – the commercial BSW configuration tool for the AUTOSAR based automotive embedded platform Arctic Core. The new release includes further improvement and it is tailored to support Arctic Core v2.2.

BSW Builder v2.2 includes the following major enhancements and improvements:

  • Editor, validator and generator for Diagnostics Event Manager (DEM)
  • Editor, validator and generator for Diagnostic Communication Manager (DCM).
  • Editor, validator and generator for CAN Transport Layer (CANTP)
  • Model consistency check when opening a model.
  • Cheat Sheet for creating a new ECU Configuration.

BSW Builder v2.2 is available as a commercial plug-in to the Arctic Studio embedded development environment. Time limited trial licenses for quick and easy evaluation can be requested here.

Arctic Core v2.2 now released

The ArcCore team today launched a new release of Arctic Core – the open source automotive embedded platform based on AUTOSAR. The new Arctic Core release v2.2 can be downloaded from the _arc_stable_ repository. Arctic Core v2.2 includes support for diagnostics including the AUTOSAR modules Diagnostics Event Manager (DEM) and Diagnostic Communication Manager (DCM). The AUTOSAR module CAN Transport Layer (CANTP) has also been added. More information about major improvements and enhancements in v2.2 can be found here

The Arctic Core v2.2 release is fully supported by the embedded development tools kit Arctic Studio IDE, Core Builder and BSW Builder 2.2.

Community continues rapid growth

The Arctic Core community – the Open Source automotive embedded platform based on AUTOSAR – continues to grow rapidly and we have registered more than 2500 downloads in just eight months!

In the next two months we plan to release additional improvements to Arctic Core including support for Diagnostics (already available in the _arc_ repository) and Network Management. These releases will also be supported by new versions of BSW Builder – the professional plug-in to Arctic Studio for easy and efficient configuration of Arctic Core.

Later this summer ArcCore plans to release three new professional plug-ins to Arctic Studio including the RTE Builder, the SW-C Builder and the System Browser. Refer to our Arctic Studio roadmap found here for more details.

BSW Builder 2.1 now available

The ArcCore team has release a new version of BSW Builder – the commercial BSW configuration tool for the AUTOSAR based automotive embedded platform Arctic Core. The new release includes further improvement and it is tailored to support Arctic Core v2.1.

BSW Builder 2.1 includes the following major enhancements and improvements:

  • New editor, validator and generator for PDU router module.
  • Enhancements in displaying validation status for each module.
  • AUTOSAR Explorer is now bundled with BSW Builder.
  • Improved template for generating OS task stubs.
  • It is now possible to switch MCU on an integration project.
  • Configuration of all communications modules now supports the polite concept included in Arctic Core v2.1.

Arctic Core v2.1 released

The ArcCore team today launched a new release of Arctic Core – the open source embedded platform based on AUTOSAR. The new Arctic Core release v2.1 can be downloaded from the _arc_stable_ repository. Arctic Core v2.1 includes support for HCS12 and optimized com stack module inter-communication (”polite”) . More information about major improvements and enhancements in v2.1 can be found here
