Second year – even more successful!

Friday, 9 September, 2011

Today the ArcCore team summarizes the second year after the launch of Arctic Core and Arctic Studio – the complete product portfolio for efficient and easy embedded development of  AUTOSAR systems.

The world-wide interest for our initiative continues to exceed all our expectations. This year we have registered more than twice as many downloads of Arctic Core and we now have more than 12000 downloads since the initial launch of our products. The Open Source community continues its rapid growth! All the positive feed-back, the proposals for further development and the contributions we have received from the growing community have ensured us that our initiative is right and that the automotive developers community acknowledge the benefits of collaboration.

This second year also has brought us an increasing number of customers in Europe and Asia. Customers that have acknowledged our business model also offering commercial products – Arctic Core Pro, and the commercial plug-ins to Arctic Studio – as the professional alternative to the Open Source distribution. We are honored to have been selected as a provider of commercial AUTOSAR platform and tools to more than 10 new customers the recent months.

Our focus for the upcoming third year will be to continue to enhance our AUTOSAR 4.0 solutions supported by the partners and members of our AUTOSAR4 community. If you are interested in an early use of an AUTOSAR4 platform we invite you to apply for membership in our community. We will also continue to extend our AUTOSAR3.x solutions – adding new features to the Arctic Core embedded platform and extending the Arctic Studio tools.

Continue to stay tuned to the ArcCore website and you will be able to benefit from our high pace in development, our innovative solutions and our collaborative approach.
