Special upgrades

Regarding the following version numbers, upgrade requires a special procedure:

  • SWC Builder 1.4
  • Extract Builder 1.3
  • RTE Builder 2.9
  • Common Layer 2.5
  • BSW Builder 2.9

For upgrades to be easier in future, the upgrade to the above, all old versions of certain Arctic Studio plugins have to be uninstalled. This is easily made by the following steps:

  • In the "Help" menu, choose "About Arctic Studio" and click "Installation Details". Choose everything except the Core Builders and Arctic Studio (or anything you wish to keep that is not related to Arctic Studio, such as SVN plugins etc). Click "Uninstall".
  • Install the new plugins following the steps in Installing Arctic Studio Tutorial.

With the introduction of Os Applications, some old projects may have to be modified in BSW Builder. Look here for more details.
